Welcome to the discussion session about 'Not just Web 2.0, but all about pedagogic design'. Please use this board to discuss the central topic. There are also discussion boards assigned to the associated case studies. Please post direct queries regarding the case studies to those boards.

Excellant, I've already learnt something new!
I had met Wikapedia of course but didnt now about Wikis or their potential use in education. Are Wikis widely used ? and what is others experience (positive and negative ) about them?

it seems that there is a lot of experimentation with the use of wikis everywhere in the HE, but there is little research or results on how to "plan, shape, and enforce" wiki-based learning activities (see an interesting article in the WikSymp06 proceeding on the role of teachers in the wiki-based learning activities)... in the (second) case-study we are having an initial "stub" at this problem, by defining and using a "blended-learning" process that combines off-line and on-line (wiki) tasks - all with the aim to provide more regular and comprehensive feedback to both - lecturers and students...
