Promoting learning is not the sole concern of assessment, but it should be pre-eminent.
There cannot be a great assessment design without a central focus on learning
The design of activities is not enough; students must be led to anticipate assessment for learning throughout their course.
If digital media is the servant of assessment design, rather than the master, it has value
Important criteria for success are for students to report being challenged and to demonstrate more of their achievements than they have previously known.
